The Job Estimator Tool (JET) Lite is free for users of this website. It is a simple calculator which provides a standard method for estimating numbers of jobs at the national and state levels asssociated with occupations listed in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT). It includes the option to estimate total jobs (full and part time), and full time jobs only. Instructions for use and a completed sample is included in the JET worksheet. Detailed instructions for use are also available. Note that you must have MS Excel on your computer in order to use the JET Lite.
If you like the JET Lite, you will be able to purchase a much more comprehensive version from our website, in the near future.
