- Estimates are based on 3 sources of data - Department of Labor OES data, census survey data, and combined OES and census data.
- Users can better determine the actual percentage of full time workers in an occupation. Provides on screen links to data sources that help with more precise estimates than the average for all occupations (used in JET Lite).
- Sit/Stand Option - Provides data fields and an on screen link to O*NET context factors that can help users estimate the per cent of jobs in an occupation that have a sit/stand option. The full JET then calculates adjusted job numbers.
- Provides a section for user determined final estimates, with automatic calculation of estimated numbers of jobs with a sit/stand option.
- Field for User Notes - Has an unlimited size field for user to make notes about the basis for final estimates. Thus, a permanent record is maintained which can be used as justification for derived numbers in future cross examination.
- Nineteen Worksheets in a Single Workbook - Provides an MS Excel workbook with 19 worksheets and a completed sample occupation. Thus, calculations for 19 occupations can be saved for future reference or use in testimony, in a single workbook. The purchaser is free to make copies of blank workbooks for continued use.
